Shikshyala recently started an initiative to bring children begging at Moti Nagar's red lights into the mainstream with the help of Delhi Police — providing basic schooling, stationery and hygiene training.
Ration is provided to parents to prevent them from sending children back to begging.
Shikshyala also helps students who lost their parents during the pandemic.
The organisation has a dedicated team of teaching and non-teaching staff, with freelancers associated for skill development. Students have performed on various stages and won many awards.
